About Paul
I have recently graduated from LAMDA with a Diploma in Higher Education (Merit) having completed a two-year Stage Management and Technical Theatre course. Whilst at LAMDA I designed many shows and have been the Chief Electrician for a 3 show rep and also toured as Chief in Italy.

Whilst at LAMDA I carried out two six-week work placements; the first was with the West Yorkshire Playhouse as part of the LX Production crew. This included the end of their Christmas production and the setting up of two touring shows. I also helped build practicals, rig and setup the shows for their time in the venue and prepare the shows for transfer.
My Second placement was at Richard Martin Lighting. I was based in the maintenance department which mainly involved repairing and servicing lights, but also included a couple of onsite visits to Television Centre to work on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.

Prior to studying at LAMDA and still continuing, I have been working at Epsom Playhouse as a casual technician and more recently as a casual duty technician, carrying out duties such as rigging, focusing, follow spotting, programming and looking after receiving shows. Here I have learnt safe working practices within the working industry, and have worked for visiting LX crews.
